Moses and Aaron return to Egypt and demand Pharaoh set the Israelites free. Pharaoh refuses then tells his slave masters to force the Israelites to work harder to discourage them from ideas of freedom.

Moses is wracked with doubt at Yahweh’s request that he go to Pharaoh and demand the release of the Israelites.
Exodus 3: Moses and the Burning Bush
While tending his father-in-law’s flock near Mount Horeb, Moses encounters Yahweh, who commands him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.
Exodus 2: The Birth of Moses
Moses is born, hidden away, then tricked into the hands of Pharaoh’s daughter and raised as a prince. He kills an Egyptian in a fit of rage and flees into exile. He marries and has a son.
Exodus 1: The Israelites Oppressed
The generation of Joseph dies. The Israelites grow into a large population under successive Pharaohs. Becoming too large of a population, Pharaoh commands all the Hebrew boys drowned in the Nile at birth.
Genesis 50: Jacob Buried in Canaan
Jacob is embalmed and taken to Canaan to be buried in the cave at Machpelah. Joseph’s brother throw themselves at his mercy. Joseph reassures them that he will not punish them for how they treated him. Joseph dies at age one hundred and ten. He requests to be taken to Machpelah when God takes them from Egypt to the land promised to Abraham by God.
Genesis 49: Jacob Blesses His Sons
As Jacob lies on his death bed, he blesses his sons, establishing the 12 tribes of Israel and giving the first foreshadowing of Jesus Christ. Jacob then requests to be buries on the field of Machpelah, along with Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and his first wife Leah.
Genesis 48: Manasseh and Ephraim
As Jacob nears death, he blesses Joseph’s two sons, making the younger, Ephraim ahead of the older.
Genesis 47: Joseph and the Famine
Joseph presents his family to Pharaoh and they are given the land of Goshen. Joseph distributes food during the famine years. Jacob dies.
Genesis 46: Jacob Goes to Egypt
Jacob gathers all his descendants and moves them to Egypt at Joseph’s behest. The tribe of the descendants of Abraham is relocated from Canaan.
