Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu break the rituals commanded by Yahweh and are struck down. Moses scolds Aaron and his sons on following their duties as priests.
Leviticus 9: The Priests Begin Their Ministry
After 7 days of consecration, Moses commands Aaron and his sons to make offerings at the alter. Fire appears and consumes the offerings.
Leviticus 6: The Burnt Offering
Yahweh gives instructions for Aaron and his sons to accept burnt offerings, grain offerings, and sin offerings.

Yahweh instructs the Israelites to make offerings of atonement for unintentionally breaking His commands: for the priests, for the whole community, for a leader, and for a lay person.
Leviticus 3: The Fellowship Offering
Yahweh Instructs the Israelites to offer an animal as thanks, giving the fat, liver and kidneys – the best portions – to Yahweh. The remaining meat will be shared with the priests. The blood and fat is never to be eaten.
Leviticus 2: The Grain Offering
Yahweh instructs the Israelites how to present an offering of grain for the tabernacle altar, giving a portion to Aaron and his sons. Aaron and his sons are busy with their priestly duties and don’t have time to plant and harvest their own food.

Yahweh gives Moses instructions for preparing a burnt offering on the bronze alter.
