Jesus continues teaching people and interpreting his teachings to his Disciples. They move from Galilee to a region of Judea on the other side of the Jordan.

Jesus teaches his disciples. He uses parables of the innocence of children, a shepherd’s care for his flock, dealing with sinners within the church, and of a king owed money by a servant.
Matthew 17: The Transfiguration
Jesus reveals himself to Peter, James and John. Jesus heals a demon-possessed boy and predicts his death a second time.
Matthew 14: John the Baptist Beheaded
Herod has John the Baptist killed. Jesus heals the sick and feeds the multitudes. He walks on water before his disciples.
